Spread sunshiny hues through your yard with Juanita Daffodils. These perennial daffodils' brilliant, 5-inch wide blooms boast buttercup yellow petals and vibrant, dark orange coronas. The flowers rest on top of 14- to 20-inch tall stems and bloom in early to mid spring. Juanita daffodils are deer resistant and well-suited to naturalizing, making them excellent for large planting projects.
Narcissus large cupped 'Juanita' are hardy in zones 3 through 8. To help ensure their success, plant your Narcissus bulbs in the fall, about 6 inches deep and 4 to 6 inches apart. They thrive in well-drained clay, loamy or sandy soil and equally enjoy full sun and partial shade. These big, blazing beauties multiply quickly to make your transition out of winter even livelier.
Use these warm-coloured daffodils to add some dazzling detail underneath trees and shrubs. For a bolder look, consider planting masses of daffodils in orchards and groves to create thick carpets of shimmering flowers. Show them off in your yard by planting your bulbs in small clusters, or mix things up and bury them alongside full-bodied hyacinths and elegant tulips in beds and borders. These Dutch flowers are easily forced indoors and make a impressive addition to spring flower bouquets. Let the sun shine in with Juanita Daffodils.
