Keep your cool with the Grape Hyacinth Mixture. The grape hyacinth (Muscari) resembles an inverted bunch of grapes. Clusters of tiny bell shaped blooms form a cone atop sturdy stems, which peacefully sway amid large emerald green leaves. This collection includes shades of white, pale blue, and cobalt blue hyacinths, as well as a bicoloured strain whose violet-blue tip gracefully bleeds into a deep, midnight blue. This tranquil collection blooms in early to mid spring and grows 6 to 8 inches tall.

Bathe your garden in true-blue bliss by burying your grape hyacinth bulbs in the fall, about 3 inches deep and 2 to 3 inches apart. This Dutch-sourced quartet thrives in well drained clay, loamy or sandy soil, and equally enjoys nodding off in full sunlight or diffusing their dusky tones through partial shade. They are hardy in zones 3 through 8 and their fragrant flowers are deer resistant.

Grape hyacinth bulbs are incredibly adaptable and will grow almost anywhere. Spread this mix throughout empty lawns, groves or fields to create a sparkling, watery effect, or plant streams of flowers along walkways. These petite flowers will also look great alongside taller spring bulbs, such as white and pink daffodils or purple tulips. Flood your spring garden with the grape hyacinth mixture's bluesy beauty.
