Add soft colour and sweet fragrance to your outdoor space with our English Wood Hyacinth Mixture bulbs. Just as the weather begins to warm in mid to late spring, these bulbs come into full bloom. You'll enjoy a wide variety of white, blue and pink bell-shaped flowers high atop rich green stems. These fragrant flowers also make a very nice addition to a fresh-cut bouquet.
Hyacinthoides hispanica are very low maintenance flowers. These plants tolerate sandy, loamy and clay soils, and are hardy in zones 3 to 9. Bury these bulbs about three inches deep and three to four inches apart. Several of these Dutch bulbs can be placed in the same hole for a lovely clustering effect. Water them generously in the off-season, and expect the first blooms around mid-April. The plants naturalize quickly and flourish in semi-shaded areas. As the seasons pass, the perennial bulbs will multiply.Hyacinthoides hispanica have been a popular feature in European gardens since the 16th century. Shortly after this English wood hyacinth mixture blooms, gravity bends these bell-shaped flowers into a gentle curve, making them a delightful addition to cottage and woodland gardens. They also make excellent container and border flowers. Add English wood hyacinth to your landscape and enjoy the sweet scent of this timeless beauty.
