Welcome spring back into your garden with Cotinga Daffodils. These perennial daffodils boast bi-coloured blooms with crisp white petals and light pink, extra long coronas. The flowers rest atop 10- to 12-inch tall stems and bloom in early to mid spring. Honey-scented Cotinga daffodils are deer resistant and well suited to naturalizing, making them excellent for both small and large scale planting projects.

Cyclamineus Narcissus 'Cotinga' are hardy in zones 3 through 8. To help ensure their success, plant your daffodil bulbs in the fall, about 6 inches deep and 4 to 6 inches apart. Daffodils wane in water-logged soil, so make sure to plant them in well-drained clay, loamy or sandy soil. These darling Dutch flowers equally enjoy basking in full sunlight or brightening up areas of partial shade.

Use these candy-coloured daffodil plants to add some sweet detail underneath trees and shrubs. If you have a larger space to fill, consider planting thick carpets of daffodils in orchards and groves or along empty banks. Show them off in your yard by planting your bulbs in small clusters, or place them alongside other early spring bloomers such as hyacinths and tulips in beds and borders. These versatile flowers are easily forced indoors and make an impressive addition to spring flower bouquets. Take flight with Cotinga daffodils.
