For each offer ordered, get 2Welcome the summer sun with the yellow and red-flecked Cleopatra Dwarf Canna. These open gold and bronze canna blossoms look like inviting flowery flames in your garden. Standing up to three feet tall on sturdy stems, this canna perennial blooms from early summer to fall's first frosts, adding an exotic touch to your summer garden and brilliant colour to your autumn landscape.
Cannaceae, like the Cleopatra dwarf canna, grow best in well-drained soil, though they can tolerate clay, loamy, or sandy soil. They are suited for hardiness zones 3 to 10, but should be lifted for winter in zones 3 to 7. They thrive in full sunlight and have a medium growth rate. Plant your cannaceae about 3 inches deep and 18 to 24 inches apart to account for a potential two foot spread.
Featuring red and bronze streaking, the Cleopatra dwarf canna's lush foliage is as striking as its exotic, bronzed-flecked golden petals dusted with bronze flecks blooms. These striking plants look like tiny torches lighting the way up the path to your home, or potted by your doorway. Add dwarf canna to beds and borders as a transitional flower between spring's lilies and fall's dahlias. Make these fiery beauties the centrepiece of your garden.
