Turn your spring landscape into a colourful paradise with the beautiful Apricot Whirl Daffodil. Standing at 16 to 18 inches, these Dutch-sourced perennials feature a lovely pinwheel-shaped 4-inch bloom. A huge frothed apricot coloured split corona spills over creamy white petals for a unique presentation. Reminiscent of an ice cream sundae, the whirls of colour are a tasty treat for the eyes.

Plant your apricot daffodil bulbs in the fall and they'll bloom in early to mid spring. These daffodils (narcissus split corona 'No. 336') flourish in climate hardiness zones 3 to 8 and require full sun or half sun and half shade. They prefer well-drained soil, but will also tolerate clay soil, sandy soil and loamy soil. Make sure to plant your bulbs 6 inches deep and approximately 4 to 6 inches apart. Daffodil bulbs are resistant to many critters, including deer.

Create an exquisite spring garden with an array of colourful companion flowers such as hyacinths, tulips, and pansies. Plant these creamy apricot daffodils in meadows, on slopes or on the edges of woodlands, allowing them to naturalize for swathes of colour. They also make a welcome addition along walkways and paths. To create a bigger impact, plant the bulbs together in one area. Add the beautiful Apricot Whirl daffodil to your landscape for a cheerful spring look.

Description
Pinwheel look brings kinetic energy to your spring garden.
This daffodil is poetry in motion. White-frothed, apricot-pink coronas stand out against a base of ivory-white petals. When fully mature, the delicate, crinkled whorls lie flat as if spinning around the yellow stamens. Lightly scented, 4" blooms are long lasting.
